ENERGY IN OUR NATURE, HUMAN IN OUR FOCUS!
Turkey focuses on the contribution to world peace with a fair sharing of energy in EXPO 2017 Astana meeting examining the energy of the future.
Energy is life. The origin of life dated back to 12 thousand years in our land. Anatolia, with its ancient history and
geography has been the source for natural charms and played a pioneering role in the transformation of energy. Our country is a ‘natural intersection’ contributing energy processes in future formation.
Turkey addresses energy with the responsibility of its position, emphasizing the significance of world peace, fair share of energy, supply security, energy saving and clean-renewable energy with its concept, messages, theme contents, events and the advantage provided by young population.
Besides, Turkey as the center of world energy trade, through its proactive and coordinated energy policies, has equipped the ideal environment and schedule for innovative interactions about future energy and presented to the world its values and experiences through processing them with its vision.
FROM SUNFLOWER TO THE SUSTAINABLE CLEAN ENERGY
"With our peaceful, ‘positive energy’ that can smile safely in the future... "
Turkey gives a place to sunflower symbolizing the sun and clean energy in its logo to be used at EXPO 2017 Astana to give a message of “the world full of peaceful and positive energy, able to smile safely in the future”.
Two nested circles in the logo represent the center. At the same time, this is the sun mark in petroglyphs belonging to Central Asian Turks.
The logo also symbolizes the distribution of humanity and energy from the center to the globe with the leaves in the
form of outward arrows.
‘Energy was the quintessence of Universe; while all comes from the essence and returns, the human being was in the core of the celestial dome. The human being returned to the source of energy and smiled to the light, just like a sunflower…’
FROM THE PAST TO THE FUTURE, FROM TURKEY TO THE WORLD
Turkey carried world’s famous, outstanding names and cultural
attractions to its pavilion, identifying them with energy and shed light to
future teachings in this way.
Turkey; Center of Energy, with its ‘share for peace’ approach,
for the world’s future…
